The Michel Forgeron Vieille Réserve Grande Champagne Cognac is an exceptional cognac, made from a blend of eaux-de-vie aged 30 to 40 years old, from the Grande Champagne region. This terroir is known for producing cognacs of great finesse and exceptional aromatic complexity.
This cognac is distinguished by its light reddish-brown color with golden highlights. On the nose, it offers powerful and lively aromas, blending notes of candied lemon and woody nuances such as pepper, cloves, and fresh tobacco. On the palate, it reveals notes of vanilla and toast, with a fine and elegant rancio characteristic of well-aged eaux-de-vie. The aromatic persistence is very long, offering a rich and profound taste experience.
Michel Forgeron's Vieille Réserve Grande Champagne bottle features a traditional Cognac style, with a classic, vintage design on the label, reflecting the elegance and quality of the contents. This understated, traditional presentation highlights the generous character of this cognac.
Recommended to be enjoyed neat, in order to fully enjoy the length of its aromas in the mouth, this cognac also pairs well with a fine cigar, thus prolonging the tasting experience.
